Golf City Cairo El Obour
Only 15 minutes away from the hotel JW Marriott Hotel Mirage City lies Golf City El Obour with an 18 hole Golf Course. Amazing lakes and a swimming pool overlooking the golf course, par 72. Four tees.
The site covers 400 feddans with the 18
hole golf course and practice area at its heart. The greens and the fairways are
in place and hundreds of palm trees have been planted to reduce the wind
sweeping in from the surrounding desert but also enhance the otherwise barren
landscape. The course is being maintained from water drawn from the five man
made lakes dotted around the course.
For a "golf window", a pair of strong
binoculars will at least ensure that they can keep an eye on the better half,
and if the kids are getting under their feet they can always be packed off to
Geroland Amusement Park next door or encouraged towards football, tennis or
bowling which are also available
